Care World and Al-Hasanaat Foundation (UK) Join Hands for Winter Kit Distribution in Budgam, India
On January 20, 2026, Care World, in partnership with Al-Hasanaat Foundation (UK), carried out a winter kit distribution program in the remote village of Chake Surasyar, Block Surasyar, District Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India. The initiative was designed to assist vulnerable and economically disadvantaged families facing severe winter conditions.
Considering the extreme cold experienced in the region, essential winter supplies, including blankets, were distributed to help residents protect themselves from harsh weather. Special emphasis was placed on reaching marginalized communities living in far-flung areas that often lack access to timely humanitarian support.
The distribution drive was successfully conducted with the support of local volunteers and community representatives, ensuring an organized and dignified process. Beneficiaries warmly appreciated the efforts of both organizations and expressed sincere thanks for the relief provided during a critical time.
