This short term programme provides a comprehensive overview of Livelihood Programmes. It covers the fundamental principles and concepts of Livelihood Programmes, its various components, the benefits, and challenges. The programme also provides practical hands-on training on how to design and implement a Livelihood Programme in a participatory manner. Participants will learn how to develop strategies and plans to enhance the economic and social wellbeing of vulnerable populations. The programme includes lectures, case studies, and interactive sessions on topics such as poverty assessment, resource mapping, risk analysis, and project implementation. Upon completion of this programme, participants will be able to develop effective Livelihood Programmes for their own communities.
